After you have removed the old hardware, or pulls, clean the area and scrape off old residue. The surface should be flat and clean.
-
Patch the holes, especially if your new hardware has a different hole alignment. Wood cabinets can be patched with wood filler that matches the cabinet door.
-
Using a pencil, mark the holes for the new hardware. Make sure the pulls are level and centered.
-
Please be extremely careful while installing pulls. They are very brittle.
-
Take into account that pulls are entirely hand made and the distance between the shanks may slightly vary.
-
Make sure the holes for screws exactly match the shanks, if they don't, please make the holes a little larger
to make sure the screw goes directly and effortlessly into the shank.
-
Extra exertion of force during installation may break the stone.
-
Drill the new holes from the front of the cabinet doors.
-
Screw your new hardware to the cabinet doors.
- To properly maintain the knobs and pulls all you need is to regularly wipe it with wet paper towel. Do not use cleaning liquids or chemicals.
